It offers analyses of articles of the main geographical world journals (300), books, congresses, theses, maps and atlases with a classification by sections (theoretical, thematic and regional).
It covers much of the geographic
world field including a specialized network of correspondents in
some topics or countries.
The IGB is a database containing some
182, 000 bibliographical entries.
It was produced by the UMR PRODIG with some 3 800 new records added each year.
