Abstract

Here the AA. report paleomagnetic data from independently dated loess in New Zealand which spans the last ca. 500,000 years, entirely within the Brunhes Normal Chron. This is the longest continuous sequence described to date and these paleomagnetic data represent the first published long record of its type from Southern Hemisphere loess
