Abstract

The upper part of Young Loess in Hungary (the "Dunaujvaros-Tapiosüly subseries", cca 13-26th. years old) is underlain by the "Mende-Basaharc subseries", cca 27-120th. years old. Old loess and interbedded paleosols in Hungary are called the "Paks subseries", the upper part of which is cca 125-210th. years old and the lower part contains the Brunhes/Matuyama boundary. (DLO).
