Abstract

The North Hungarian Mountain Range consists mainly of Miocene volcanics. In the foreland of one of its members, the Matra Mountains, biostratigraphic, morphochronological and paleomagnetic dating of sediments enabled authors to establish the duration of the Late Neogene pedimentation (cca 5 to 2.5 Ma B.P.). (DLO).
