Abstract

The present considerable height differences between the karst valleys of the Great Plateau and the valley systems with an intermittent and permanent flow in the SW-Bükk were of much lesser degree in the Upper Pliocene. The present differences in elevation between limestone and non-limestone surfaces were rather moderate once. (DLO).
