Abstract

In the Mons Basin, artesian hot waters (66 to 73C) sprang up from tree wells recently drilled. These waters arise from large cracks and cavities opened in Late Visean limestones and evaporite salts, and they are closely linked with fallen in breccias. Some important inferences relative to regional geology, hydrodynamics and geothermal use of the hot waters are developped at last.-(L'A.).
