Abstract

A captive balloon equipped with the radio-controlled camera is one suitable method for aerial photography especially in the study of the separate geomorphological forms and processes. The weight of the apparatus used in the trial photography was about 4,5 kg. The volume of the hydrogen-filled balloon was 5 cubic meters. By using a standard lense (focal length 50 mm) and the film size of 24 36 mm, the real area of one phtograph is 48 72 meters form the height of 100meters. The best weather for this method is a light breeze.
