Abstract

The Dutch-Belgium and the Dutch-German frontiers are normally spoken very permeable. Yet they are in many respects sharp barriers. In respect to education and health facilities frontier crossing is very difficult and this is also the case of the housing and labor markets. The consuming behaviour is fundamentally orientated on the home country and this is disrupted only by significant differences in wages or prices. (AGD).
