Abstract

C. r. par Ju. Karagjuleva, Abstr. Bulg. scient. Lit., 1976-2, n 157: elements of the southern limb of the Berkovica anticlinorium and of the Izdremec syncline are described. The southern limb of the anticlinorium is complicated by a number of small near-fault folds and by faults. The Izdremec syncline divides the Berkovica and the Svoge anticlinoria. Its northern limb is autochthonous, quiet, and the southern limb is allochthonous. Four overthrusts of post-Turonian age are found in it. The overthrust dislocations are regarded as manifestations of the Trans-Balkan deep fault.
