Abstract

GEOGRAPHICAL STRUCTURE, WHICH SHALL NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE STRUCTURE OF A SYSTEM, IS A GEOGRAPHICAL SPACE ORGANISED BY A SYSTEM| IT HAS AN OPERATIONAL VALUE TO THE EXTENT THAT IT INCORPORATES BOTH CHOROLOGICAL AND TAXONOMIC FACTS. THE SYSTEM IS CONSIDERED AS A SET OF SETS (OF ELEMENTS, OF ATTRIBUTES OF THESE ELEMENTS, OF RELATIONS BETWEEN ELEMENTS, OF RELATION BETWEEN THE COMPLETE SYSTEM AND THE OUTSIDE)| THEN THE INPUTS AND FUNCTIONING OF SYSTEMS ARE DISCUSSED BY REFERENCE TO A MODEL OF ATMOSPHERIC CIRCULATION AND OF AN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM.
