Abstract

In this paper, the AA. describe profile changes in Luvisols and Cambisols derived from loess and loess-like materials and in rendzinas (Rendzic Leptosols) in undulating terrain since a land-use change from forest to cropland. Two factors - cultivation period and relief (mainly slope angle) - affecting soil properties were studied in parallel. They also attempt to reconstruct the former soil cover and predict future changes in it over a few decades
