Abstract

Rural handicrafts is a labour-intensive economic activity that is receiving increased attention in post-apartheid South Africa. In this paper an investigation is undertaken into the organization, workings and developmental potential of groups of rural handicraft producers in Mpumalanga province. - (AJC)
