This study focuses on 3 questions : what are the processes that control the supply and composition of the inorganic terrigenous fraction of the late Quaternary deep-sea sediments of the Niger fan ? What are the implications of the results for the reconstruction of past climate conditions ? What information can be derived concerning climate history of central African ?
