Abstract

AA. argue that an evaluation of the migration-development relationship should take into account factors such as transnational social relationships, micro-level benefits of remittances, and the impact of migration on social and cultural relationships. Then governments can form strategic migration and development policies. International migration between Belize and the United States is presented as a case study to discuss the above concerns. - (SLD)
