Abstract

Under both (GISS and GFDL) climatic scenarios the self-sufficiency of food production in Poland may be maintened, provided that special adaptational measures are adopted. Among them are : complex organization of rural infrastructure ; the developing of guidelines regarding the spatial distribution of types of agricultural production ; plant breeding for new cultivars better adapted to the changed conditions ; the adjusting of animal production to possibilities of fodder production at the given time, as well as the elaboration of new methods for feed conservation and feeding. - (BJ)
