The aim of this study was to identify and describe physiographic units, based on their sensitivity to erosion, and to assess whether patterns of degradation conform to the observed differences in sensitivity. Therefore, soil and vegetation properties were studied in order to characterize Erosion Sensitive Areas (ESAs)
