Abstract

The AA. use a canonical ordination technique (CCA) to investigate patterns in species data that can be explained by a number of measured environmental variables. They try to understand the distribution patterns of plant communities and examine their relations to main environmental factors using CCA and Two-Way Indicator Species Analysis (TWINSPAN) in the middle reaches of the Tarim River. The results show species distribution patterns correlated with major environmental variables of groundwater level and soil moisture
