Abstract

This essay asserts that anthropogenic activity can be fruitfully studied by physical scientists as any other type of process would be and reviews some of the history and theory of the study of human action. Although largely conceptualized from a geomorphology perspective, this account tries to show how some theoretical development can help researchers rethink the study of human action in all branches of physical geography
