Abstract

This paper aims to describe the relationships between landslides and river incision in the Arroyo de Gor area in SE Spain. In this case, Late Pleistocene-Holocene river entrenchment caused rotational slides, which, in turn, caused enlargement of the river valley. All these processes were triggered by a river capture, which increased the stream power
