Abstract

CLIGEN is a stochastic weather generator to produce the required climate input for WEPP (Water Erosion Prediction Project). The aim of this paper is to show how to adjust CLIGEN parameter values to generate realistic precipitation change scenarios. This was made possible only because long-term historical daily and 6-min data from Sydney have shown that rainfall since 1949 has significantly increased compared to the 3 previous decades
