Abstract

This study reports on a set of wind tunnel experiments designed to examine the dependency of the mass transport rate on water contents that are distributed through space and time. The goal is to simulate and monitor surface conditions that provide a closer representation of nature than achieved in previous simulations by the AA. Finally, the implications for modelling aeolian transport on beaches are explored briefly in the context of a field site assessment during the initial calibration of the method
