Abstract

The specific objectives of this study are to quantify relative contributions of runoff and sediment from a range of sources within a defined road segment for selected rainfall events. A major sub-objective is to investigate variations in runoff and sediment generation on contrasting road types and usage. To meet these objectives, a series of rainfall simulator experiments were carried out on road segments in a native forest catchment in southeastern New South Wales, Australia
