Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show how specific conductivity (SpC) measurements can further differentiate quantities of dissolved solids within carbonate karst areas, and thus help to suggest the natural evolutionary paths of the waters conveying them. In densely populated, farmed or industrialized, regions many waters are now polluted. The conductivity meter can help to detect them; apart from the practical utility of such detection, this avoids distorsion that will result from their incorporation into models of natural development
