Abstract

The aim of this work was to investigate under field conditions and natural rainfall events, the effect of some selected parameters on single storm interrill runoff and sediment delivery, on cultivated soils in central Greece, and to develop an empirical model for predicting sediment delivery. They hypothesized that a topsoil aggregate instability index, determined by wet sieving technique, would fairly account for soil interrill erodibility and, in combination with a rainfall factor, for runoff amount
