Abstract

The spatial distribution patterns of total organic carbon and total nitrogen show significant correlations with currents of the East China Sea Shelf. The purposes of this paper are to analyze characteristics of stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes in seabed sediments, and discuss their implications for tracing organic matter source; and calculate contributions of different organic matter sources in seabed sediments
