Abstract

The aim of this paper is to gain a deeper understanding of the conditions under which surface-runoff and groundwater-discharge basins are expected to exhibit geomorphological differences. The AA. focus specifically on the hypsometric curve, which previously found was significantly different for surface-runoff and groundwater-discharge basins. The AA. examine the same 45 watersheds that Luo (2000) extracted from DEM data : 25 groundwater discharge basins in Utah and Florida and 20 surface-runoff basins in Oklahoma, Iowa and Wisconsin. Discussion of model simulations
