Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of land uses (dry tropical forest, grassland, cropland and mine spoil) on plant available N-pool, net nitrification, net N-mineralization rates and soil microbial biomass N. It is showed that, in dry tropical forests, land-use change affects remarkably the nitrogen transformation process in soil
