Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of beet vinasse composted with a vermicompost as a bulking agent on physical, chemical and biological properties of a soil located in a semi-arid Mediterranean ecosystem, and their potential in the control of soil erosion as well in its restoration. The study was carried out from October 2003 to October 2006 near Seville (Guadalquivir Valley, Andalusia, Spain). Methods, results and discussion
