In this paper the AA. attempt to synthesize palaeontological, sedimentological and geomorphological data of Oxygen Isotopic Stage (OIS) 5e deposits from a number of Western Mediterranean countries, in order to reconstruct the palaeoenvironmental changes which occurred in this basin during the Last Interglacial, as well as the impact of North Atlantic climate variability on the oceanographic and meteorological conditions of the Western Mediterranean Basin
