Ce numéro spécial consacré aux géographies critiques de l’éducation est divisé en trois chapitres. Le premier, intitulé "Subverting neoliberal strategies" comprend les articles suivants : 1-Multiplying spaces of subalterity in education : from ideological realms to strategizing outcomes ; 2-First Nations assimilation through neoliberal educational reform ; 3-Mining Aboriginal success : the politics of difference in continuing education for industry needs ; 4-The moral imperatives of geographies of school failure: mobilizing market-based reform coalitions ; 5-School labelling as technology of governance : problematizing ascribed labels to school spaces. Le second, "Fragmentations of space and social justice" se compose des articles suivants : 1-Education in global Chicago and the remaking of contemporary capitalism ; 2-Reforming the city : neoliberal school reform and democratic contestation in New Orleans ; 3-Accommodating all applicants? School choice and the regulation of enrolment in Ireland ; 4-Parental involvement in children's learning : mothers' fourth shift, social class, and the growth of state intervention in family life. Le dernier chapitre, intitulé "Classrooms space and performances of pedagogy" comprend les articles suivants : 1-The subject of neoliberal affects : rural youth envision their futures ; 2-“New markets must be conquered” : race, gender, and the embodiment of entrepreneurship within texts ; 3-The whiteness of green : racialization and environmental education ; 4-Consuming development : responsibility, citizenship and the corporate university ; 5-Critical pedagogies in the neoliberal university : what happens when they go digital? ; 6-Out of the box : making space for everyday critical pedagogies
