The traditional data envelopment analysis (DEA), bootstrap-DEA and Malmquist models are employed to measure different tourism efficiencies and their spatial characteristics of 61 cities in six coastal urban agglomerations in eastern China since 2000 : Yangtze River Delta (YRD) and the Pearl River Delta (PRD),Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH) and the Shandong Peninsula (SDP). The measured values and spatial characteristics of the comprehensive efficiency (CE), pure technical efficiency (PTE), and scale efficiency (SE)of urban tourism, since 2000, in these 6 urban agglomerations are presented and discussed
