Abstract

The aim of this study was to infer process rates from profile form using best-fit criteria, to use these rates to estimate the ages of the profiles, and then to compare these ages with ages derived from stream-incision rates. Therefore field surveys, location-for-time reasoning, and computer modeling were used to study the evolution of slopes on valley walls of abandoned bedrock meanders on the Eastern Highland Rim
