Abstract

This paper examines the influence of hillslope processes, and the landforms that result from them, on channel dynamics within upland watersheds of the Great Basin of central Nevada. The AA. demonstrate that modern channel incision, and variations in erosional and depositional processes observed along the valley floor, are directly related to the history of hillslope sediment production and landform development during the mid- to late Holocene
