Abstract

This study compares different seasonal mass balance and interpret the differences between them. The other goal is to analyze data of seasonal mass balance components (winter and summer) for particular glaciers, and between mountain ranges as well. This is done to obtain a better understanding of spatial and temporal variability in winter accumulation, summer melting, and the resulting annual glacier mass balances for the last several decades characterized by a climatic warming trend
