Abstract

Meteorite accumulations are found in a number of arid areas, both hot deserts and cold deserts such as the Antarctic. The AA. focus particularly on the Nullarbor Region of Western Australia. Beginning with a discussion of some basic properties of meteorites, the AA. then discuss methodologies for analyzing weathering and contamination, and finally the relevance of this information for understanding terrestrial processes
