Abstract

The AA. applied several quantitative pedologic methods to soils on dune crests in he eastern part of the Saginaw dune field. The primary goal of the study was to determine whether the dunes in this part of the Saginaw dune field stabilized concurrently or randomly in time and space. Second, they compared the data from this part of the Saginaw dune field with that from Arbogast et al. (1997) to determine whether relative differences exist between the northwestern and southeastern parts of the region
