Abstract

This study examines the channel-scale, 3-D structure of a scrolled floodplain of a meandering river, specifically a square kilometer of the North Thompson River Floodplain near Kamloops, British Columbia. Sedimentologic data are acquired largely by a survey with ground-penetrating radar (GPR), a geophysical tool only recently applied to geomorphic problems in meandering streams
