Abstract

This paper examines hydrologic parameters of hemiarid basin tributary systems and their influence on paleolake cycles, using the Trans-Pecos closed basin as a case study. The A. examines how global paleoclimatic factors and intrinsic geographic controls act in determining the threshold between states of hydroclimatic equilibria. A geographic information system-based digital elevation model of the Trans-Pecos closed basin catchments, together with data collected from various tributary systems, is used
