Abstract

In this paper, the late Quaternary geomorphic evolution and paleoenvironmental history of Wilson Ridge is presented. This study illustrates how a lunette in the central Great Plains documents the history of regional paleoenvironmental change for the past 20,000 years. Investigations reveal a complex stratigraphy. Subsequently, the geomorphic evolution and the history of climate change at the site from about 20,000 yr B.P. to the present will be anayzed
