Abstract

This paper examines the effects of economic restructuring on the regional structure of Hungary. Author implements a centre-periphery model, interpeting three different meanings for it: locational (geographical), developmental (economics) and dependance (power) relationships. Based upon statistical data, author employs factor analysis to examine the existence of centre-periphery relations in the country. - (JS)
