Abstract

This study examines atmospheric and terrestrial longwave radiation at an alpine tundra site in southern British Columbia, Canada, during 2 measurement periods that encompassed a wide range of atmospheric and surface conditions. Several empirical atmospheric longwave radiation models were tested, and terresrial longwave radiation measurements were compared to results derived from the Stefan-Boltzmann Law
