Abstract

To assist land-use managers in addressing the problem of erosion, a computer simulation model (SEDCAD) can be used to determine the effectiveness of well-applied erosion-control practices in reducing the loss of soil from actively developing sites. The program includes procedures based on a modified version of the Universal Soil Loss Equation. This paper examines the application of SEDCAD at a construction site in northeastern Ohio. Discussion of the results
