Geography and literature

This issue differs from previously published works on geography and literature in that it includes Latin American contributions, and in that it introduces the Anglo-American audience to selected contributions by Italian scholars, who, consistent with the strong humanist tradition of Italian geography, have actively advanced the research frontier in this field. The series begin with an exhaustive review which accentuates the powerful influence of Anglo-American humanist geography and reveals lesser known directions pursued by European humanist geographers
