Abstract

Along the Murrindal River, 3 closely spaced nickpoints in the surface channel are closely associated with the underground bypass system which has developed at the site, and can also be related to surface landforms along the neighbouring Buchan River Valley. This area therefore offers an ideal opportunity to explore the interactions between cave development and nickpoint migration, and also gives insights into the possible limits to the rate of subsurface nickpoint migration
