This paper reports fossil tracks of large herbivores in upper-Pleistocene eolian sand-sheet deposits in central and southwestern Alaska. The association of tracks with subhorizontally stratified eolian-sand deposits further suggests that vegetated sand sheets may have formed a locally important grazing resource in some regions of Beringia during at least part of the last glaciation
