Abstract

This paper discusses the specific use of microcomputer spreadsheets as a tool for teaching modelling in the context of geomorphology. 4 parts of this discussion include: the pedagogical goals of the modelling approach, the intellectual process of modelling, the physical process of spreadsheet modelling, and the practice of instruction through this method
