Abstract

Southern Primorye is at present the area with the most complete data about the interaction between ancient man and environment. The first results suggest that the main regularities in man-environmment interaction in Southern Primorye are close to those from other Far Eastern Russia regions. The following methods of paleographical investigations were used: geomorphological, lithological, pollen-and-spores and radiocarbon. The results are interpreted using archaeological and paleogeographical information
