Abstract

This paper assesses how the form of the spring-dominated channels differs as a consequence of distinctive hydrology. In addition, the AA. examine in more detail the hydrology of such springfed systems. They compare spring-dominated alluvial streams and alluvial streams whose runoff is derived from snowmelt or rainfall directly, runoff dominated streams. The term is meant to include surface runoff and subsurface runoff
