Abstract

The primary focus of this study was to evaluate soil development on faulted and unfaulted moraines near the montain front as a means of correlating the moraines to the Sierran glaciations. Weathering of surface clasts, disintegration of subsurface clasts, and geomorphic criteria were also used to reinforce interpretations made from the soils data
