Abstract

Ths paper presents the results of pollen and eolian sedimentaries studies of deep-sea core KS 84063 collected off the Ivory Coast in the Gulf of Guinea. The analyses indicate high sedimentation rates (6-10 cm/1000 yr) as well as abundant microflora, which allows to define the terrestrial signal of climate changes during the last glaciation at the low latitudes of west Africa
